Why did I get a link asking for my Credit Card information?

If you are booking through me, I will send you a secure FORA Vault link to provide credit card information.

To secure your travel arrangements, I may need your credit card information. This is a standard industry practice for several reasons:

  • Holding Reservations: Many airlines, hotels, and car rental companies require a credit card or deposit to hold your reservation. This ensures that the booking is secure and prevents cancellations.

  • Ensuring On-time Payment to Hospitality Providers: In some cases, you may pay for a booking in installments. Having your credit card on file allows me to make sure these are paid on time so your trip is not cancelled for non-payment. I will provide invoice information anytime a charge to your credit card is needed.

  • Emergency Contact: Having your credit card information on file allows me to assist you in case of unexpected travel emergencies, such as flight cancellations or lost luggage.

Rest assured, I am committed to protecting your personal information. That is why I do not take credit card information over the phone, and I use the secure FORA Vault link. This ensures that I am not collecting the credit card information in an unsecured system, and FORA adheres to strict security protocols to safeguard your credit card details. If you will be able to pay directly with the hospitality provider, I will coordinate it in lieu of collecting credit card information or charging your card on your behalf.

What if I need to Cancel my Booking?

No problem! Things happen, and sometimes our plans change. If you need to cancel your trip or change your dates, just let me know and I will take care of everything else and make sure all your bookings are moved or completely cancelled. If you paid a non-refundable deposit, you may need to forfeit those funds or they may be turned into a travel credit, depending on the Hospitality Providers policies. Some may charge fees to move your dates or for any major changes, and I will let you know if that is the case based on your specific circumstances.

Note for Hanna & Jordan’s Wedding: Royal Caribbean has recently changed their policy on Non-refundable deposits. If you cancel your Cruise Booking with them, they no longer transfer those funds into Future Travel Credits. However, you can pay a change fee of $100 to change your sailing date and/or to a new destination/ship in order to not lose all of your deposit.

If you are not certain if you will be able to attend the wedding yet, please wait until closer to the date to book your cruise to avoid having to pay this fee or lose out on a deposit (if you are flexible on room type/location of room for the cruise).

If you are booking through me, I will let you know if the deposit is non-refundable and you can make your decision then. If you book outside of the group and use one of Royal Caribbean’s discount promotions, your deposit will likely be Non-Refundable.

Why should I book with you?

Using a Travel Advisor is like having a friend you can call for help at any time if something goes wrong. I have a lot of experience with travel, especially international travel, and I know the types of issues or problems that can happen on a trip. If you book with me, I will ensure that you are supported throughout the process; from the planning stage all the way until you get home.

Can I book the Cruise myself for Hanna and Jordan’s Wedding?

If you do not feel comfortable booking through me, you can always book your own room outside of the group booking. However, if you would like to be included in the group booking and any of the dinners or events planned as part of the group booking, you must book through me. If you book directly through Royal Caribbean, I may still be able to connect your booking to the group booking, but there are no guarantees. I will still need you to provide me with your booking information so I can try to connect you with the group booking.

Also, all of the prices listed for the Cruise are based on booking through me as part of the group. If you book through someone else or directly through Royal Caribbean they will not be able to provide you with the same prices.
